Help us rebuild Catholic churches and schools in Puerto Rico

Hurricane Maria in 2017 and a massive earthquake in 2020 destroyed and damaged hundreds of Catholic churches and schools in Puerto Rico. Catholic Extension Society has worked in collaboration with five dioceses on the island and FEMA to establish an island-wide recovery program. After years of hard work, the reconstruction phase has finally begun!

While FEMA funds will cover a significant portion of reconstruction costs, many program expenses and facility needs remain unfunded.

In Puerto Rico, 45% of the population lives in poverty. Your generosity can help ensure that over 600 Catholic churches, schools, and service centers in Puerto Rico rise again, providing greater shelter and security in the face of future disasters, and serving as beacons of hope for generations to come!
