Help us rebuild Catholic churches and schools in Puerto Rico

In Puerto Rico, hundreds of Catholic churches, schools, and communities were devastated by Hurricane Maria in 2017 and the massive earthquake in 2020. Since the early days of recovery, Catholic Extension Society worked with the five dioceses on the island and FEMA to establish an island-wide recovery program.

An endeavor of this magnitude takes years of careful planning, and we are finally ready to begin the reconstruction phase! FEMA funding will cover a significant portion of the costs– but many program expenses and facility needs remain unfunded.

This is where you can help. By making a donation to Catholic Extension Society today, you will help restore more than 600 Catholic churches, schools, and other critical facilities that serve as lifelines for communities in Puerto Rico - places where families find support, students learn and grow, and neighbors come together in faith.
