Support the Holy Family Fund
Both the United States and the Catholic Church have a long history of receiving and caring for refugees. And during that long history, Catholic Extension has been there to support border communities as they respond to the needs of immigrants seeking safety.
Mothers, fathers and children seeking asylum must escape on a moment’s notice, gathering what they can and embarking on treacherous journeys in search of safety in the United States. When they arrive, they are exhausted, undernourished, and uncertain of their future. But they can finally find a moment of relief in the comfort and care of Catholic shelters.
Catholic Extension's Holy Family Fund - named after the plight of Mary, Joseph and the newborn Jesus, who were immigrants themselves as they fled into Egypt - supports the Church’s ministries to these vulnerable communities.
